Job Professional Mom & Yoga Instructor
Bio Antonia Noonan, a 500 hour registered yoga teacher, is a firm believer in following one's heart and embracing the fun and joy in life, both on and off the mat. She has always loved teaching -- whatever it was, from aerobics, to swimming lessons, to vocal coaching. Her enthusiasm for her own yoga practice, and her desire to want to share that with others, lead her to the teacher training program with Betsy Kase at Yoga Haven, where she received her 200 hour certification. In addition to teaching, Antonia loves to learn, so she continues to study, earning certifications in pre-natal yoga from Janice Clarfield, kids yoga from Karma Kids, and vinyasa yoga from Shiva Rea. She also completed her 500 hour Advanced Certification with Shri Dharma Mittra, of whom she is a devoted student. Antonia's inspiration for her classes is drawn from several different teachers and styles of yoga, and from her experience as a multi-sport athlete.

Name Heidi Broecking
Location Nyack, New York
Job Graphic Designer & Yoga Instructor
Bio Heidi started practicing Yoga after moving to Nyack with her husband and then 10-month old son in 1997. As a practicing Zen Buddhist, she was drawn to both the physical aspects of yoga practice (asana) and to the thoughtful and meditative parts of the yoga path (e.g. niyama, yama and dharana) that guide us in our daily lives.
As a cyclist of many years, yoga has helped Heidi develop her concentration, focus, balance, flexibility, patience and strength.
Heidi's classes are a focused study of asana with emphasis on proper, safe alignment in connection with the breath. Understanding that everyone's body is different and that each of us may have limitations on any given day, props are utilized freely to assist students in maintaining safe alignment in poses. There is much questioning in Heidi's classes - questioning of self in mind and body, on the mat and with practice, off the mat too! And laughter, lots of laughter! Heidi believes a big part her calling as a yoga teacher is to guide her students in finding the joy in their own practice.
